Biography

Meet James, the Founder and Managing Partner of Cornerstone Tax Solutions LLC., a Virginia based, virtual tax business specializing in IRS tax audit and tax resolution/representation as well as tax preparation and planning for small and medium sized businesses and individuals.

James received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Hampton University and after graduating he enlisted in the military, was accepted into the prestigious Officer Candidate School (OCS) and then served almost 8 years in the US Army as a Budget and Finance Officer. After 10+years working as a financial consultant in the DC/Metro area and as a Director of Finance in Caroline County Virginia, he earned his Enrolled Agent (EA) license/designation from the Department of Treasury and is currently a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers (ASTPS) and the Virginia Society of Enrolled Agents (VASEA).

He lives and works in Virginia with his wife of 22 years and where he enjoys spending lots of quality family time with her and their 5 children. James and his family regularly attend their local Calvary Chapel church and when he is not working, he loves to play online chess and as well as watching as many Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel Comics and other Sci-Fi/Fantasy movies and television shows, in addition he loves TV crime drama shows like Law and Order, Criminal Minds and NCIS. He especially enjoys the timeless episodes of “The Joy of Painting” TV series by Bob Ross.
